This is Jen. Her full name is Jennifer but she seems to have acquired Jen from somewhere.
I first met Jen outside WH Smith in Glasgow's Central station. I was walking Dave back to the train and he told me he was going to meet his girlfriend first. I was surprised when I first saw Jen as she seemed "lost" and I was expecting someone else, having glimpsed a photo in Dave's wallet. She told me later, I was not what she was expecting. She can't remember what she was expecting, but it wasn't me.
Jen's a timid person to begin with. She is exceptionally shy and it can take her AGES to trust people. However, if you do get to know her, you can tell she is warm hearted, caring, gentle and fun. She has a natural tendency to care for animals and as a result she has a great time at Dave's. She seems to find an irresistible attraction to pigs (Bacon? Well it is irresistible, but I think she likes them alive and the pig tends to be very protective about it's bacon when it's still alive) and anything small, furry and cute. As a result she has 2 baby Chinchilla's which she hopes will produce more small furry things. Slightly immoral I hear you cry? I mean surely that is Incest? Mating a brother and sister? They might come out with 3 eyes, or 2 tails or something, won't they?
Jen plays badminton along with Dave, Bonner and myself most Saturdays. At first I 'd say she was probably very scared of me and Bonner as we are stupidly competitive on the court, and even though we know it is just a laugh, it can look very serious. Now, she seems more relaxed and we all have a good time. Apparently, us lads are remarkably slow at getting changed!
